The quantum group at the University of Malta is recruiting a tenure track lecturer!

We are a young theoretical quantum physics group working on the lovely island of Malta. We are based in the Department of Physics at the University of Malta, a vibrant research-led department with active interests in the quantum world, applications of electromagnetism, and astrophysics and cosmology. The work of our group spans the fields of quantum optics, including quantum optomechanics and quantum information, and quantum thermodynamics.

We are seeking a world-class researcher in theoretical quantum optics, condensed matter theory, or a related field to join our team as a lecturer or professor. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching, research, and other activities of the Department of Physics. The appointment will initially be of a 4-year duration, subject to a 1-year probation period, with indefinite renewal subject to performance as outlined in the call document linked below.
