Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Montclair State. Priority will be given to a researcher who can carry out experimental research in quantum information science/quantum computing. Other fields of experimental physics may also be considered, especially atomic, nuclear, or particle physics. The applicant should be able to carry out an externally-funded research program in experimental physics that can involve undergraduate students on the Montclair State campus. Supporting the experimental portion of our curriculum is also expected.
