We are seeking a highly accomplished Quantum Algorithms Developer to join our Quantum Algorithms team, contributing to the research and development of innovative algorithms that fully leverage the capabilities of Equal1 quantum computers for our customers.

PhD Project: Hybrid Quantum Annealer Algorithms for Tabu Search and Data-Driven Computation

Location: Department of Engineering and Computer Science DISI, University of Trento, Italy in collaboration with German Aerospace Center (DLR) Köln, Germany

The Research Scientist for Quantum Computing will design experiments to run on emerging hardware to give insights into quantum approaches to NASA problems of interest, explore the robustness of the hardware, develop best practice programming techniques for quantum hardware, and illuminate the inner workings to better understand the mechanisms that can be used to provide a quantum computational advantage.
