Applications are invited for a 2-year postdoctoral research position, applied for competitively through the Irish Research Council, to work at the National University of Ireland Galway, with Michael Mc Gettrick, in areas such as quantum computation, quantum walks and quantum games. We offer a 2-years post-doctoral position in the area of quantum computing, quantum programming, and the analysis of quantum algorithms at the Quantum Systems of Informatics Group at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Gliwice, Poland. The position is founded within the scope of Polish National Science Centre project Impact of input data alteration and modification of the algorithm parameters on the efficiency of quantum programs.

Your mission:
The Quantum Computing Group at the High-Performance Computing Department of the Institute for Software Technology at DLR is focused on application-focused algorithms for near-term quantum computing. In particular, the group works with fundamental researchers as well as possible end-users to achieve the goal of finding quantum advantage for useful applications.
