The project DisQC (Distributed Quantum Computing), is a scientific project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) under a JCJC Starting Grant (2022-2025) and coordinated by Giuseppe Di Molfetta at Aix-Marseille University (AMU).

Qalypso - a Summer School on Quantum Computing and Open Quantum Systems is being held on the beautiful Maltese island of Gozo 5th - 9th September.
The school features a basics track, created incollaboration with our main sponsor Quantinuum, which includes a 3 day crashcourse on quantum computing followed by a 2 day hackathon targeted towards undergraduate, master's students and individual starting their journey in quantum computing.
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc for the quantum information experimental research with trapped-ion systems.
We have two research topics (with supporting grants);
- An efficient ion-photon interface for quantum network
- A full-stack trapped-ion based quantum computing system with up to 5 qubits.
Proven expertise in AMO experiments and/or embedded systems will be valued.

The QCHS 2022 summer school aims to connect junior researchers in quantum science and technology across Switzerland and abroad and thus stimulate future collaborative works. In particular, it will gather PhD candidates and Master's student from a range of different backgrounds, spanning from theorists working with quantum algorithms to experimentalists working with quantum technologies.
