We will have openings for a PhD and Postdoc positions at the Quantum Algorithmics group at the University of Augsburg. The anticipated starting date is spring 2025.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Enjoy working creatively with numerical methods and heuristic exploration
- Motivation to work on scientific code and software development
- Strong interest in physical concepts and their utilization
- Master's degree/PhD in: Computer Science Physics, Chemistry, or Math (including interdisciplinary programs)
Ideally, candidates bring expertise in one of the following: quantum algorithms, quantum chemistry, many-body physics, high-performance computing, open-source software.
