We are seeking a talented and motivated PhD student to work on the theory of ultra-cold atoms and Bell correlations in the group led by prof. E. Witkowska (http://sites.google.com/site/ewiitk/). The successful candidate will be part of the SHENG project realized with the experimental group of Prof. Li You from Tsinghua University in China.

This position will be based at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland (http://theory.ifpan.edu.pl/).

A fixed-term PDRA position is available at Imperial College London to work with Raj Patel, Steve Kolthammer, and Ian Walmsley on experimental photonic quantum simulation. The project is part of the UKQTP Quantum Science and Simulation hub.

Position based on full-time employment contract in the project „Compound atomic systems for quantum simulation”. The main task includes theoretical modelling of ultracold hybrid ion-atom systems. The position is offered to candidates who are willing to prepare and defend a PhD thesis based on their work in the project.

The Quantum Systems Unit, headed by Prof. Thomas Busch, has an opening for a theoretical post-doctoral scholar in the area of quantum simulations using cold atomic systems. More information can be found at

The Role
