PhD

We are looking for highly talented and ambitious candidates for the PhD position starting in October 2021 on Multiphoton Quantum Information
Processing and Sensing (deadline May 4, 2021) at our Quantum Science and Technology Hub
(QSTH; https://www.port.ac.uk/research/research-centres-and-groups/quantum-scie...)
at the University of Portsmouth.

PhD Students are sought to join the group of A/Prof Alexei Gilchrist at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, to work on projects within theoretical quantum information, and in particular on the characterisation of resourcefulness of quantum measurements and in quantum causal discovery with noisy quantum measurements.

PhD position starting in October 2021 on Multiphoton Quantum Information Processing and Sensing at the Quantum Science and Technology Hub (QSTH) at the University of Portsmouth, directed by Dr. Vincenzo Tamma. Please find details in the link below:

Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) is an English-speaking international graduate only research university, located just outside of Moscow. Established in collaboration with M.I.T., Skoltech integrates the best Russian scientific traditions with Western research practices.

PhD Fellowships are now being offered to work in Skoltech’s Quantum Lab – lead by Prof Jacob Biamonte at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on theoretical aspects related to many-body quantum optics, and specifically on chiral many-body quantum optics in the presence of structured environments. By the end of the PhD, the successful applicant will have developed skills such as:
