Postdoctoral position available in Max-Planck Institute Erlangen, Germany
We are looking for a postdoc with experience in experimental quantum and/or nonlinear optics. Possible projects are:
- High-gain parametric down-conversion: nonclassical features, nonlinear interferometry, quantum tomography
- Generation of photon triplets through a direct cubic nonlinear process
- Physics at the boundary of quantum and nonlinear optics: nonlinear effects pumped with quantum states of light, extreme events, interaction of light with matter.
Postdoctoral position opening in theoretical and computational AMO Physics
Within a new theory center at the University of Haifa, one post-doctorate position is offered in the group of Prof. Ofir Alon. The candidate should have a strong background in theoretical and computational physics of Bose-Einstein condensates, and background and will to further develop the MCTDHB method and its linear response. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility for an extension to a second year. The salary is according to the University of Haifa post-doc scale. Application deadline is 01/MAY/2018. Candidates will be interviewed until the position is filled.
