The proposed research is embedded in the European project “QuILMI: A Quantum Integrated Light and Matter Interface”, which aims at building and characterising an interface with cold atoms and photons out of integrated waveguide structures. Quilmi includes four European partners and is coordinated by the University of Nottingham.

A theoretical background in Quantum Optics and capability of scripting in Matlab is required.

The salary is 2250 Turkish Liras (no taxes apply) and the extent of the position is 18 months.

The Leverhulme Trust has funded a two-year Senior Research Associate position at Lancaster University, UK, to work with Dr Alexander Belton on a project entitled "Quantum random walks and quasi-free quantum stochastic calculus".
