Applications are invited for the above post based in the School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will carry out experimental research and technological development of quantum sensors.

The specific research focus is the development of optically pumped magnetometers (based on cesium atomic vapor) and their applications including medical applications. The project is funded by the UK National Quantum Technology Hub in Sensing and Timing.

A theoretical postdoc position is available in the group of Dr. Nikolai Sinitsyn at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Possible research projects include
time dependent quantum Hamiltonians, decoherence in solid state qubits, modeling NV centers in diamond, integrable models, simulating quantum systems with quantum computers. Application letters with CVs should be submitted by email: nsinitsyn at lanl.gov.
The search will continue until position is filled.

At the centre for quantum information, KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), we are seeking highly motivated early career researchers who intend to enhance his or her career on the experimental quantum optics and quantum information. Potential research topics include the followings:

- Entangled photon pair generation and its applications to quantum information processing
- Noisy intermediate-scale quantum information processing with photons
- Quantum secure communication including quantum key distribution

The lab of Victor Acosta (University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA) seeks to hire two postdoctoral researchers for projects developing quantum sensors, based on diamond NV centers, for applications in NMR spectroscopy and magnetic microscopy.

A post doctoral position is available immediately at UCLA to design a chip scale spin photon memory interface with long coherence times (full abstract below). Ph.D. in physics or related field, and a strong background in experimental physics is required. Experience with MEMS devices and fabrication is an asset but not required. The main tasks will involve implementing low field pulsed microwave-optical quantum control schemes of spin valley transitions of deep donors in Si and their recoupling via cavity QED.
