Exemplary topics include: entanglement mediated by gravity, speed of mediated dynamics, bounds on the amount of correlations established via mediator.

A post-doctoral research fellowship on software for near-term quantum computers is available working with Prof Dan Browne at UCL. It is part of the EPSRC Prosperity Partnership in Quantum Software for Modelling and Simulation, a collaboration with the University of Bristol, Google, and industry partners.

Several openings will be available in the recently awarded 5 year Reinhart Koselleck Project of the German Research Council to Prof Martin Plenio for which we are seeking applicants with an interest in

- signal processing methods applied to nanoscale NMR and quantum sensing,
- quantum sensing with colour centers in diamond, and
- DNP based on diamond quantum technologies.

About the role

There exists a prestigious and well-funded Scientia PhD scholarship for a student to undertake research on optical neural networks with application to quantum systems at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia. The project will be undertaken under the supervision of A/Prof Andrey Miroshnichenko, Prof Hussein Abbas's, and Dr Matt Woolley.The scholarship includes a stipend of \$AU41,209 per annum for four years, a travel allowance of up to \$AU10,000 per annum, and covers all tuition fees.
