Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

We are currently offering a position to a highly motivated and well-qualified researcher who intends to enhance the career in the field of quantum information science, on either the postdoctoral or the PhD student level. The successful candidate will work in the research group for quantum information theory led by Jens Eisert at the Dahlem Center for Complex Quantum Systems of the Free University of Berlin.

The Computer Science Department at the University of Paderborn is seeking motivated Masters and Ph.D. students in the areas of quantum algorithms, complexity theory, and/or cryptography.

Master's students will be recruited into the research group of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Sevag Gharibian. Ph.d. students will be recruited into the group of Prof. Dr. Johannes Blömer.

In the Theory of Cold Atoms group of Prof. Uwe R. Fischer at Seoul National University, a Postdoc position is open in the field of quantum simulations of curved spacetimes (the so-called analogue gravity).
Possible topics include implementations of analogues of trans-Planckian physics in cosmology and in Hawking radiation, and the proper treatment of the quantum backreaction problem.
Initial appointment is for one year with a possible extension to two years. Salary is according to the Korean postdoc scale.

The Computer Science Department of The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Quantum Information Theory, to commence on January 1st, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three year
fixed term basis, with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three year fixed term contract.

Dartmouth College seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Theoretical and Computational Molecular Science. The ideal candidate will use theoretical chemistry and computational modeling approaches to address foundational and practical questions about molecular structure, function, energetics, spectroscopy, reaction kinetics, and their impact in systems of biological interest. Preference will be given to candidates with applications geared towards biochemistry including but not limited to enzyme catalysis, photosynthesis, and drug design.
