In the Quantum Optics group, Institute for Applied Physics at the University of Bonn, a position for postdoctoral fellow is to be filled. Our group conducts research with ultracold atomic gases and quantum gases of light in optical micro-resonators. The position is for research on ultracold atomic erbium atoms, with the goal to observe novel fractional quantum Hall physics.
We are looking for candidates with an excellent Ph. D. in the field of experimental quantum optics / AMO physics who want to qualify for a scientific career. The position is offered initially for one year, with an extension being possible.
