Job description
The photonic integrated circuits group (https://www.tcgcrest.org/researches/photonic-integrated-circuits-for-sen...) at CQuERE, TCG CREST is offering a postdoctoral research position for working in quantum sensing using diamond. The position is supported by the TCG CREST. The project will provide the opportunity to develop state-of-the-art magnetic field sensors and working in an international and collaborative research environment.
Qualifications and requirements:
a. A doctoral degree (in case of just submitted thesis, a certificate of submission ne required).
b. Considerable experience in nanofabrication and a strong background in lithography and device physics
c. Experience in photoluminescence, Raman spectroscopy, and ODMR spectroscopy
d. Experience in handling low temperature equipment
e. Instrumentation and interfacing
f. COMSOL, Lumerical simulation
g. Good writing and communication skill and high-quality scientific production.
h. Strongly motivated for working in a team

Candidates who have submitted the thesis are also encouraged to apply. However, they will be offered a position equivalent to Research Associate – 1. After submission of Ph.D. degree certificate, they will be promoted to postdoctoral level.

Duration:
The position offered is for one year initially and can be extended based on the performance of the candidate and project requirement.
Salary: Commensurate
