We offer a post-doc position in the project carried out in the National Laboratory FAMO within the Sonata Bis 11 programme of the National Science Centre (NCN). The National Laboratory FAMO is a leading Polish research-oriented institution focused on atomic, molecular, and optical physics problems. Currently, several European projects are realized in National Laboratory FAMO, concerning ultra-cold atoms, quantum control, and optical atomic clocks.

In the Quantum Optics group, Institute for Applied Physics at the University of Bonn, a position for postdoctoral fellow is to be filled. Our group conducts research with ultracold atomic gases and quantum gases of light in optical micro-resonators. The position is for research on ultracold atomic erbium atoms, with the goal to observe novel fractional quantum Hall physics.

We offer a two-year Postdoc (f/m/d) in Machine Learning for Quantum Computing and Simulation of Quantum Matter. The successful candidate (f/m/d) will be part of the interdisciplinary DRESDEN-concept Research Group AI 4 Quantum which is currently established at the Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) and the Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Dresden/Leipzig (ScaDS.AI) at the Center for Interdiscip­linary Digital Sciences (CIDS) of the TU Dresden. You will develop and apply novel deep machine learning (ML) methods, neural network and artificial intelligence approaches to extend the reach of accurate computational methods to study strongly correlated quantum matter.
