The meeting XIV Conference on Quantum Foundations: From Foundations To Quantum Computing - Celebrating IYQ2025, will be held from November 26 to 28, 2025, in the Instituto de Ciencias de la Computación (CONICET-UBA), Buenos Aires, Argentina. The meeting will be held in person.

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 843. WEH workshop in Bad Honnef on “Progress in Photonic Quantum Computing”. The workshop will take place 21.09-24.09.2025. Registration is now open until 20.07.2025.

The focus of this year's workshop are decoders for quantum error-correction. We hope to encourage participation from those working in quantum algorithm optimization, error-correction, architecture design, quantum compilation, classical control and resource benchmarking.

We are delighted to announce that the Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) conference will take place this year in Barcelona, from October 6th to 10th. YQIS is a conference series organized by and for PhD students and early-career researchers working across the broad field of quantum information. It provides a platform for young scientists to present their latest work and engage with the wider community.

Abstract: In recent years, the notion of magic in quantum physics – originally confined to more esoteric quantum information processing subfields – has attracted the attention of the community of quantum many-body physics, quantum chaos and complexity, high-energy physics, AdS-CFT and the foundations of quantum mechanics. In this colloquium, we will give a survey of what quantum magic is, how it can be measured, and why we should care (and why and when we should not).

ICE-10 is the 10th edition of the conference Quantum Information in Spain [Información Cuántica en España (ICE)].

ICE is the annual meeting of the Spanish Network on Quantum Information (RITCE) which brings together national and international researchers working on quantum computing, quantum communications, quantum metrology, quantum thermodynamics, and other areas of quantum science and technologies. In particular, the meeting aims to provide a platform to increase the visibility of early-career researchers.
